Courses and rental of sailboats

The Funtastic sailing school offers sailing classes and courses, along with the rental of sailboats, at its centre on Riells Beach in L’Escala, Girona. This spot enjoys excellent conditions for dinghy sailing. The courses are organised in the form of two-hour sessions from Monday to Friday. We also offer “taster” options: a single two-hour introductory session or a three-day taster course (3 x 2 hr.). All the classes are highly practical. The courses, led by instructors of the Catalan Sailing Federation and of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, adhere to the standards of the ISSA (International Sailing Schools Association).

Dinghy rentals

When it comes to classes and courses for beginners, we have a fleet of modern RS sailboats that are also available for rental (with or without skipper). Depending on their age, beginners start off with the RS Tera, RS Zest or a larger-capacity boat such as the RS Venture. For non begginers sailors, the school offers more technical sailboats for advanced courses, such as the RS Feva XL and the RS Quest, both with asymmetric spinnakers, and to start with the  trapezes. The RS Veleros test centre, also includes high performance dinghies such as the RS Aero, RS Vareo or the RS 500 for advanced sailors. Or even, multihulls like the RS Cat16 or the Weta trimaran.
